Amelia Macgillis ’27, a fully balanced student and an all around role model. Packing her days with as many activities as possible, Macgillis lifeguards both during school and in the summer on top of swimming for the girls varsity swim team.
Spending time with friends and family is another main priority in Macgillis’s life. Audrey, her sister who used to be on Tower, is the reason she was inspired to join. The opportunities, social interactions and lessons she has learned have attracted Macgillis to remain on The Tower for her second year.
Although her schedule is packed, she still makes it a point to push herself in school.
“I like pushing myself but I also like being steady,” Macgillis said. “I think the worst thing in the world is being overwhelmed.”
