Lionel Richie is set to light up Little Caesars Arena on July 1 on his co-headlining tour “Sing a Song All Night Long” this summer alongside the iconic soul band Earth, Wind and Fire. With the two both being popular in the 1970s and 1980s, this will be a nostalgic show for many that plan on attending. The two will blend seamlessly together with both being high energy and funky, but also being able to balance with smooth, emotional love songs. Five time Grammy winner Lil Wayne and rap artist 2 Chainz are coming to Pine Knob Music Theater on July 24 to bring Hip-Hop history to metro Detroit. The tour being named “20 Years of Carter Classics”, the name is reference to Lil Wayne’s career defining album sequence, “The Carter”. These two artists are not just a random match up, the two have been collaborating for over a decade. Pine Knob’s open air atmosphere mixed with the high energy show and the chemistry between the two artists makes this a very appealing show to add to your list of concerts this summer.
Country music star Luke Bryan is set to bring the country energy to metro Detroit on July 11 and 12 at Pine Knob Music Theater. His “Word on the Street” tour will be his 14th major tour in his booming career in the country music industry. Luke Bryan being a five time winner of the Entertainer of the year award, attending this concert is a guaranteed good time with such a popular entertainer on stage. Bryan is predicted to cover his music from all points of her career, playing both music from the 2010s to his new album, “Mind of a Country Boy”.
Megan Moroney is bringing her massive international “The Cloud 9 Tour” to Little Caesars Area on Aug. 18. Joined by special guests J.P. Saxe and Solon Holt, Moroney will play some of her first hits like “Tennessee Orange” and songs from her newest album “Cloud 9”. Morony only having three albums, an arena tour is a big step into her soon to be large career.
