As we start to head towards the end of the year, excitement for student activities begins to heighten. With the annual Powderbuff game coming up on March 25, the student government is working hard to put on another successful event.
The powderpuff game is a great way for students to raise money for their charity week. With five-dollar tickets sold at the entrance and a fee for each team signing up, the event is a fun and exciting way to raise money. Molly Kendall ’26, one of the chair members, shares how the night will run.
“The boys’ volleyball will be coached by the varsity volleyball team, with six teams of max nine players, and the winner gets a cool trophy,” Kendall said. “To enter, there are QR codes around the hallway with a Sign Up Genius and on Schoology.”
With playful competition between the teams and coaches, only one team can come out on top. While funding the school’s charity week together with a side of competition, the student government is expecting another great outcome for this event.
“This is going to be a super fun event that’s always a great part of the charity week we put on,” Kendall said.
