A long-lasting tradition at South, the Seniors Honors Night, highlighting the accomplishments and high earnings of the graduating class. The event takes place on Friday, May 9, at 6 pm in the auditorium of Grosse Pointe South. The night is about honoring students of the class of 2025 if they have received a GPA of 3.5 or higher. This night is made possible by the administrative class and presented by our principal.
“Seniors honors night is a great opportunity to highlight the hard work of our seniors at South,” Melissa Petz, student activities administrator, said. “These awards aren’t easy so being able to honor these students is important.”
Awards such as the Academic Hall of Fame were awarded to students with a GPA of 4.0 or higher, and the Highest Honors award was given to students with a GPA of 3.5-3.99. This night is an important event for South and the graduating seniors.
