Bella Maldonado ’28, Copy Editor
She’s as prepared as anyone. While first-year staffer Bella Maldonado ’28 has her fair share of responsibilities outside of school, leading her boat as a coxswain for the South Rowing Team, she is nonetheless ready to dedicate her time to helping the Tower throughout her sophomore year and onward.
Maldonado is a natural trailblazer, not being afraid to let her unfiltered thoughts out in her published work, favoring opinion pieces over other forms of journalism.
“I want to be a lawyer when I grow up,” Maldonado said. “I have a big opinion on a lot of stuff.”
Although she is ready to lead, Maldonado believes all good leaders must also focus on self-improvement. Understanding that individual mastery is the foundation of a great team, she is focusing on continuing to develop her own writing and diction this year to benefit the publication.
“I really want to make my writing a lot more in-depth [this year],” Maldonado said. “I want to expand my vocabulary to make my stories more interesting. I’m gonna try to help out as much as I can.”
