Hattie Curtis ’26, Staff Writer

When she’s not up North at her cottage, she can be spotted inside a local Italian restaurant, at dinner with her friends sipping on Shirley Temples or even at Small Favors where she may be adding a new Jellycat to her growing collection. Hattie Curtis ’26 is a diligent student with an array of interests, including history, travel, psychology and shopping. Her days are filled with laughter from the kids she babysits, dedicating time to working on academics and spending precious moments with her dog, Lucy.

“I take her on walks a lot,” Curtis said. “It’s very calming and clears my mind.”

Curtis’ favorite year of high school so far was her sophomore year, a time where there was still a great amount of time left of high school, and she remembers it fondly for its ease and enjoyment. Now entering her senior year, and being on Tower, Curtis is excited to test new ideas through her work, utilizing her last year to instill lasting memories in the back classroom and leave her mark as a writer through the newspaper, or maybe even written on the wall in Sharpie.

“I’m sad it’s my last year on tower,”Curtis ‘ said. “I’m going to miss being with my friends, writing in the back and making podcasts.”
