Staff writer Sara Dimitrijevic ’25 is eager to create this year on Tower her best one yet. Dimitrijevic has ensured to express herself whenever she is writing something new for the paper, which is one priority she has before graduating later this year.
“Just from being part of the Tower for one year, I have learned so many social skills,” Dimitrijevic said.
Outside of The Tower Dimitrijevic has astonishing extracurricular activities that include playing piano and skiing in the competitive field. Dimitrijevic is currently looking forward to her final year on Tower and is planning to grow evermore throughout the year.
“So far my time on Tower has been such a valuable experience that I will forever be grateful for,” Dimitrijevic said.
When second-year staffer Kaitlyn Strong ’26 isn’t on the tennis court or at Boyne Mountain volunteering as ski patrol, she takes on the role of supervising page editor for The Tower, utilizing her creative and technical skills.
“I really like the kind of freedom of choice that you have in the class,” Strong said, “It’s really a community and it feels very much like you’re working with your peers.”
In her free time, Strong loves spending quality time with family and friends, while also starting her second year as captain of the girls’ South varsity tennis team after making it to state finals last year.
“It doesn’t really matter who you are, you have your own job and you’re doing it,” Strong said, “Now I’m just really excited to oversee it all.”
