The NHS is providing several upcoming service opportunities for its members. NHS President Christian Potts ’23 is organizing and gathering volunteers for these events.

The next upcoming event is the clothing drive team-up with St. Paul on the Lake Catholic Church next weekend, Oct. 1 and 2.

“Last year’s clothing drive was a great success, and this year’s should be equally beneficial,” Potts said.

The next upcoming event is the school cleanup, which will take place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday during the month of October. Also during October, members will have a chance to help out with a community event at the Haunted Garage starting the second weekend of the month. More service events will be announced soon.

Lastly, the annual Blood Drive will take place in early November. NHS members will be asked to staff the event as well as donate blood if they are able.

“This event is critical to the community and 100 percent participation is both needed and required,” Potts said.
