For a frozen yogurt lover like me, YogoHut is right up my alley. Before going, I did not know exactly what to expect, but upon walking in, it was like heaven.

Welcomed with the sweet smell of frozen yogurt and the vision of vacation, I automatically fell in love. My first move was to taste test everything in sight. As many FroYo (frozen yogurt) stores in Michigan do not often offer coconut, I went to that flavor first. I was very much pleased with the yogurt, ending up with three different types and a vast variety of toppings.

If you think serving yourself is the best part, you are wrong. Next, I hit the topping bar. As if coconut, strawberry, and cake batter yogurt was not enough, I topped it off with coconut toppings and kiwi.

Not only is the yogurt delicious, but the employees were kind and helpful. As the new store in Grosse Pointe Woods on Mack Avenue, Yogohut’s staff made a great impression.

After you serve yourself yogurt and add your toppings, you head over to the counter to weigh your yogurt.   My favorite part about the new store is that you can mix and match any yogurt and toppings you want.

One of my only criticisms is that there is only one size of cup, making it easy to add more ice cream than you can eat. Also, Parking can be an issue as there is only approximitely ten parking spots in front and most are taken up by the neighboring buisnesses.

But, looking over these minor inconveniences, YogoHut’s enviroment and yogurt will please more then it dissapoints.

YogoHut has been welcomed with a great response as the Hawaiian atmosphere brings customers to ease. This self-serve, relaxing, and delicious ice cream restaurant is a perfect addition to Grosse Pointe.
