Morgan Costello ’27, Feature Section Editor
Besides being Tower’s Feature Section Editor, Morgan Costello ’27 enjoys running, music, baking and traveling. Costello’s passion for travel has taken her to explore various cities and countries all around the world.
“In this past year, I went to Tokyo and it’s my favorite place I’ve been so far,” Costello said.
Being apart of the Tower has allowed the second-year staffer to extend her love of adventure to South. Through interviewing and creating stories, Costello has been able to explore South and its people.
“I really love interviewing different teachers that I might not have normally [spoken to] in a class and seeing their opinion on stories that we’re writing,” Costello said. “I get to meet a lot of new people through journalism and it’s been fun expanding my horizons.”
Gus Nutter ’27, Web Editor
Gus Nutter ‘27 is a web editor entering his second year on the Tower staff. He describes himself as social, optimistic and open to new ideas. Qualities that all connect to his passion for writing and sharing stories.
“Writing for the Tower is more than just an essay for your English class, it is an interactive and fun way to share our writing with the community.” Nutter said.
Outside of Tower, Nutter pours himself into competitive dance, spending countless hours in the studio daily. It’s where he feels the most unstoppable. No matter how busy dance keeps him, he still manages to make time to travel with his family. He finds Utah’s ski trails and Italy’s coastline as a chance to breathe and recharge with the people he cares about most.
“My favorite place I’ve ever traveled to was the Amalfi Coast in Italy,” Nutter said. “It was insane. Every day I just think, “when are we going back?”
