Lily Golabek ’28, Copy Editor
Lily Golabek ’28 at Grosse Pointe South, and is going into her first year on the Tower as a copy editor. She is passionate about journalism, specifically the writing aspect of it alongside things like interviews and current events.
Golabek is from Brooklyn, New York where she lived until sixth grade. She still visits friends in Brooklyn often and hopes to attend a college there.
“I’ll just go there and stay with my friends, it’s really fun,” Golabek said. “I love it, I’m planning to go back there for college.”
Outside of school, Golabek is interested in music and art. She has attended more than a dozen concerts, including artists like Billie Eilish, Arctic Monkeys and Tyler, the Creator. Her favorite concert was seeing Wallows.
“I was so close to the B-stage it felt personal,” Golabek said. “It was one of my favorite concerts ever.”
