As I began to write my column, I realized that to better reflect my Tower and high school experience, I should do something that connects more to myself. Kaylee Jelinski ’25, Supervising Page Editor
Not your run-of-the-mill Swiftie, Kaylee Jelinski ’25 chooses to supplement her time listening to the pop princess, as well as baking and spending time with friends and family, including her two dogs: Dodger and Dash. “Spending time with my loved ones is especially important to me because they are always there to listen to me yapping,” Jelinski said. Jelinski is in her second year of Tower as the Supervising Page Editor. She is looking forward to dedicating time to designing unique and creative pages, her favorite aspect of being part of the newspaper. “When I first started journalism, I wasn’t super good at writing,” Jelinski said. “But then we got into InDesign and page editing units, and I found that I was good at them. It’s my favorite part about Tower that it gives everyone a role.”
