On Saturday, April 12, 2025, the class of 2025 will be hosting their egg hunt for the final time. The event will begin at 10 a.m. with a $12 admission fee for all children. The activities vary from face paint to photo opportunities with the Easter bunny. Class of 2025 secretary Ava Biter ’25 shares all of the behind the scenes to their yearly traditions.
“Each year we host this fundraiser for our community to bring people together,” Biter said. “We always have the Easter bunny and a lot of activities. Last year we even had therapy dogs.”
The egg hunt is very exciting for the children in the community. The audience typically ranges from six to ten-year-olds. The class of 2025 student council has found easier ways to manage the amount of people who go.
“We usually break up each section of the lawn into different spots to look for eggs,” Biter said. “We also split up the ages of the kids so that the oldest kids aren’t competing with the youngest.”
This has been a fun fundraiser for the class of 2025 to host. Everyone in the community that attends seems to enjoy it and looks forward to it each year.
“Freshman year we thought it would be a fun idea so we figured out the logistics of it,” Biter said. “We have loved it ever since.”
