Claw Clips: $1.66
When originally ordering these clips, I did not have many expectations. I knew they weren’t going to be the greatest quality because they were so cheap, however they were much sturdier than I had anticipated. They are large enough to hold all of my hair together, and I was even able to run over five miles a day with my hair secured in them. Overall, I would absolutely recommend these to anyone looking for claw clips that are both trendy and functional without breaking the bank.

Crop Tops Set: $4.93

From the second I placed an ‘order’ on these tops, I knew the quality wasn’t going to be amazing for them, but I couldn’t help trying it out for the price. When they arrived, my hypothesis was proven to be true, because it was quite obvious that these tops were not made with any high-quality material. They are both pretty thin and see-through, but they definitely are still functional to wear out; however, I would only recommend them as base layers to be paired with some sort of jacket.

Happy Socks: $3.57

Having fun socks to wear with shoes has definitely become a larger trend this year, so I was really excited to see how these would compare to others, despite being less than $4 for a pack of seven. They came in looking exactly like the picture, so they look great to style, however, they are thin and short. Some may personally not like that especially during the cold seasons, however, they are a great buy if their purpose is solely for style.

Lululemon Belt Bag: $11.73

This fanny pack was on a huge sale when I ordered it, so I was skeptical that this was the actual Lululemon belt bag. To my surprise, it is 100% authentic and an incredible deal for being $11 after tax and shipping. The belt bag came with the original Lululemon merchandise tag as well as the rip tag on the inside, and I verified its authenticity by researching how to spot dupes. This bag has been super convenient for carrying things like money, phones, lip balm and snacks on the go, so I would also definitely recommend this purchase to anyone.

Cowboy Boot Necklace: $14.00

It looked like the seller of this necklace was some sort of small business, and the adorable packaging came with a handwritten thank you note. The necklace is the exact same as the picture online, and I have worn it a few times already with no signs of damage or tarnishing. If you’re looking to support small businesses while shopping on TikTok, it is definitely possible, and the quality translates.

Overall:
As a whole, I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of TikTok shop. Most of my purchases came within a week of ordering, and the durability of most items was better than I was expecting. Obviously, some things are better than others, but my biggest recommendation when shopping on a new platform like TikTok would be to check out the reviews before ordering. Most places also offer free returns, so if you have anything in your cart at the moment and hesitate to place it, I would say to take the chance and order it– it may be better than you had anticipated.
