The Girls Cross Country Team heads to the starting line hoping for a good race. Though the race did not go as planned, the team pulled off a 7-0 win over all other teams in the MAC White. South’s top runner was Sarah Koval ’25, finishing in first with an overall time of 20:59.

Guthat says that they are focusing on matches in their region and division. They lost to North 1-6 and 4-6 with a major comeback in the second set. “It’s been a lot of fun and I’ve definitely made improvements,” Guthat said. “We had a rough start at first. Then, we started to play better, but we just couldn’t pull through."
