Lauren Griffin '22, Staff writer

Lauren Griffin ’22 is an outgoing, fun-loving staff writer who loves to celebrate life. When she’s not working at Starbucks (her favorite drink is the caramel macchiato), she loves to sleep, hang out with her friends and make people laugh. Being one of the few women of color on The Tower staff, Griffin is passionate about amplifying the voice of black women and giving The Tower a more diverse perspective.
“I want to fight for more people of color on The Tower, and I want to scout for underclassmen to write for The Tower,” Griffin said. “There is a divide (at Grosse Pointe South), and sometimes I feel that people of color aren’t celebrated.”
