The Tower Pulse

When you first meet Ryan you know right off the bat you have met a very nice humble individual. Ryan is a member of The Varsity soccer team and the varsity basketball team and he enjoys playing both of these sports equally. You will also find out Ryan is in DECA, DECA is a business club that teaches kids high school-aged about entrepreneurship, and learning how to start a business. Ryan is also a member of NHS, NHS is a club in high school that promotes leadership, volunteering, and community service. Ryan is a member of the Grosse Pointe South newspaper the tower. As the supervising photo editor, he controls what photos go out onto the newspaper. Ryan is a ginormous sports fan with interest in the English Premier League, NBA, College Football, and the NFL. I asked Caldwell on how his love for soccer connects to journalism in Tower. “I like soccer because it is very fast-paced and one of the most popular sports in the world, and the games and transfer media has helped me a lot in sports journalism in the tower,” Caldwell said.
