Omar Siddiqui ’25, Web Editor in Chief

When Omar Siddiqui ’25 isn’t practicing his backflip, he is a web editor in chief for the Tower. Sidique is passionate about playing soccer and basketball. His favorite subject is also math.

In the winter, Siddiqui plays for an intramural basketball team while in the other seasons he enjoys playing soccer. Community and teamwork are important to him, which is another reason why he is excited to be returning to Tower for his third year.

Siddiqui is eager to make change within his community, he values being able to have the platform to do so. Tower is also important to him because he has been able to branch out, meet new people and make new friends.

“I think that journalism gives a way to create serious change,” Siddiqui said. “It lets us as students have a voice and make a difference.”
