Everyone remembers the joy of sledding with family and making Gingerbread houses while it’s snowing outside. However, people tend to forget the stress of finding the perfect Christmas gifts for each of their family members, just to find out that they already have that gift. If you can relate to the stress around the Holidays, then the 2024 Parcellls Holiday Bazaar is the perfect thing for you. With over 200 unique tables dedicated to holiday shoppers, there was everything from Christmas scarves to handmade pottery. Many small business owners benefit from this event and make it a yearly tradition to attend. One of these long-time members is Alissa Rosemary, who loves attending every event.
“I’ve been attending the event for the last six years selling hand crochet animals and clothing items,” Rosemary said. “In the holiday season, small businesses need all the help they can get, so with large organized events like this being organized it allows us to benefit from the holidays.”
The benefits from the sellers don’t quite equal those of the people shopping. With stress and high demand to get the best gifts, being able to shop for every type of Christmas gift allows you to pick out the best ones and make everyone happy. Including Susan Jordan, who has to shop for a family of 8 and doesn’t know where to start for gifts.
“I was skeptical to come to the event and really only decided to stop by when my plans for the day were canceled,” Jordan said. “ Once I arrived I was surprised to see that three gyms and multiple long hallways were filled with students from Parcells selling food and delivering to the sellers. I was able to get most of my Christmas gifts, which is pretty good considering the fact that I wasn’t even planning to come in the first place.”
