Life is short, so go to the extremes

I’d like to share two great personal experiences from my senior year.

First, I indulged in at-home cryotherapy. It’s fairly simple. Take a bowl that’s big enough to submerge your face into, fill it with ice, then add cold water. Repeatedly dunk your face into the water for as long as possible. It’s more fun than one might think. I definitely recommend doing so if it’s 1 a.m. and you need to make sure you don’t fall asleep to finish your work. It also relieves stress, and my friend told me that it’s done wonders for my skin.

Second, for a very short period of time I consumed raw eggs. It’s disgusting. I did research first, obviously, to make sure it was safe. As nauseating as it is to crack an egg into a glass and swallow it whole, I will say that it improved my brain power immensely. Eggs are nutrient dense with choline, which scientifically helps your brain function better. Simply put, consuming a raw egg at 2 a.m. on a school night will transcend you.

Take from that what you will, but I say enjoy life and live it to the extremes because it got me this far.
Of course, shoutout to the fam: Mom, Dad, Imran, Omar and Razzi, you’re awesome. The OG Tower squad I guess: G. A., B. D., M. W., and I. S. (RIP to a fellow page editor).

Thanks Ev K. for being an above average vice president. And the biggest thanks to all my friends, too many to name but the real ones know who they are.
