A breakfast essential: How to make crepes

Strawberry and Raspberry Crepes

What you will need:

3/4 cup of flour

1/2 teaspoon of salt

1 teaspoon of baking powder

3 eggs

2/3 cup of milk

1/3 cup of water

1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract

Toppings of choice


Directions for crepes:

Combine the flour, salt, baking powder, eggs, milk, water, and vanilla in a large bowl. Mix well until the ingredients form a batter. Heat a skillet or pan and cover it with a thin coat of butter. Add 1/4 cup of the batter to the pan. Flip the crepe once it is easy to lift from the pan. Repeat for the other side.

Directions for toppings:

Fill a small pot with 1/4 cup of water. Add either frozen or fresh fruit to the water and let the mixture sit until the fruit begins to break apart. Mix until it forms a thin sauce. Spread mixture around the crepe and add other toppings such as more fruit and powdered sugar.
