Kate Dixon ’25, Staff Writer
Outside of her position as a second year staffer on Tower Kate Dixon ‘25 can be found participating in sports and other extracurricular activities. When she’s not busy with homework you will find her at practice for South’s varsity swim or softball team. Dixon believes that everyone on Tower has the power to implement creativity in their writing.
“I’m a big opinion writer, because I like how there is so much freedom in what you can write,” Dixon said.
Dixon loves spending time in the water like oceans, pools and lakes. In the summer she has fun lifeguarding at Lochmoore. Other than being the captain for varsity swim and softball, Dixon enjoys doing school clubs such as varsity club and link crew.
“Clubs and extracurricular activities have always grabbed my attention. I like how there are other things to do at school other than homework and tests,” Dixon said.
