When she’s not working hard on InDesign or writing articles, one could find Sara Johnson ’26 snowboarding, dancing, or chatting with friends. This first-year staffer is eager to bring her love for journalism, particularly interviewing people, to The Tower.

“I just love talking to all different kinds of people,” Johnson said. “This is the main reason I started taking journalism classes at South.”

Something you may not know about Johnson is that she’s a pescatarian, meaning she doesn’t eat meat, only fish. Within Tower, Johnson is looking forward to her first year as being page editor because she has a passion for design.

“I’m so excited to be writing and designing for The Tower this year because it is such a renowned publication,”Johnson said. “The idea of writing for the newspaper at South sounds so fun to me and I’m looking forward to finding out what my first year on staff has in store for me.”
