When the Tower visited her in eighth grade, Payton Lark ’27 knew she wanted to be a part of it when she got to South. Now a staff writer on Tower, she can’t wait to see her writing in print. However, Tower isn’t her only hobby. Although she does not compete competitively with sailing as a sport, she still enjoys going out on the boat with her family.

“I go on sailing trips with my family,” Lark said. “Usually we go on sailing trips to different places.”

Later this year in the spring, Lark is planning on being a part of the South Track team. Lark is also looking forward to playing on the Unified Basketball team this year since her sister is a player. But when she isn’t busy with all she is looking forward to, she loves making a quick run to Taco Bell with her order of a simple, regular taco.
