Mary Grima ‘26 is a kickboxing heavy metal enthusiast who practices her marksmanship on the weekends. Tower is one of the activities that gives her the thrill and purpose she needs. The simplest, most unexpected things are often what is most groundbreaking.

“I like being on the ground, covering whatever. The more chaotic the situation is, the readier I am to take it on,” Grima said.

This copy editor looks forward to mentoring the first-year staffers so they can develop into confident journalists.

“I was so nervous my first year,” Grima said. “I want to be somebody they can rely on because that was what I really needed.”
