Caya Craig, Editor in Chief, seems to have lived her life to the fullest. She has had amazing life experiences such as spending four years in Spain. “I was really immersed in the culture. I got to learn the language and it was just much different living in the city life,” Caya said. Caya is dipping her toes into journalism and trying something new. “I was always a creative writing type of person,” Caya said. She was drawn to journalism because of its authenticity. “Journalism was cool because it is real, its real life and a real story,” Caya said. Caya was influenced heavily by her Dad, a musician and by Alexis Johnson, a black woman journalist. “Alexis Johnson… the stories she follows and the things she makes videos on are super interesting,” Caya said.
