Annie Ferguson ’26 is looking forward to her first year on Tower as a page editor. She is excited to have the ability to express her creativity through designing with different styles and formats.

“I really like the writing style of Tower,” Ferguson said. “I have always been interested in journalism and I was very excited to take honors journalism last year.”

Ferguson spends most of her Friday nights cheering on the South football team from the sidelines and has been on the cheer team since her freshman year. She also enjoys spending time in the kitchen baking some of her favorite treats, which she says brings her joy and relaxes her.

“I enjoy baking,” Ferguson said. “I tend to do it a lot and it brings me comfort and gives me a sense of relaxation.”

Some of her favorites include cookies, cupcakes, and cake pops. This year, specifically, Ferguson is excited to write any stories that involve arts and entertainment.

“My favorite type of stories to write are arts and entertainment,” Ferguson said. “I am very excited for all the new things I get to be a part of this year.”
