The library is filled with books, text books, computers and spaces where students can space out and relax. “I think that it is a very comfy environment and there’s a lot of flexible seating,” Elle Petz ’26 said. “It is very easy to find the book you’re looking for and Ms. Johnson is very helpful if you’re looking for a specific book.”

After spending her summer as a day camp counselor, Hattie Curtis ‘26 is ready to bring her skills to the newspaper as an incoming first year staff writer. She is excited to portray her love for writing in print, and is excited for a club where she can collaborate with peers and friends. “I’m excited to start writing so I can show my creativity through my work,” Curtis said. “I like the idea of working as a team, it feels like we can all help each other out and produce the best work we can.” Curtis spends time on the court, as a tennis player for South’s team and is a babysitter on the side. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and her dog, Lucy, a west highland terrier.
