Milk Chocolate Chip:
Although this cookie is often overlooked in comparison to the other flavors every week, it is still as good to the others. Every other week this cookie is alternated with Semi-sweet Chocolate Chunk on the Crumbl menu. It may not seem as appealing or even have some sort of decoration, but this cookie had the perfect amount of chocolate chips. It was warm and very soft. This cookie was a good refresher because of its sweetness after trying some of the other rich flavors this week.
Birthday Cake ft. OREO: This cookie definitely had the best presentation. The crushed Oreo cookies on top and the sprinkles added color and crunch to the chewy cookie. There was a vanilla frosting, which didn’t taste a lot like Oreo filling, but it was still good. It was very sweet and filing because of the dense cookie paired with the large amount of frosting. This cookie was also warm, which made the cookie fall apart easier. The cookie by itself tasted a lot like their other chocolate cookies, so I wish the Oreo flavor was stronger. Overall, the cookie had a high-quality presentation, but it was lacking with the Oreo taste.
Peanut Butter ft. SNICKERS: This cookie was probably one of the best cookies apart of this week’s lineup. It included large Snickers pieces on top, which added to the flavor. The caramel frosting and peanut butter cookie base would have been a good combination by itself, but the Snickers made the peanut butter flavor even more prominent. There was also a light chocolate drizzle on top that added to the presentation of the cookie. The frosting didn’t have a strong caramel flavor, but overall the amount that was put on paired very well with the base. Personally, peanut butter isn’t my favorite flavor, but this Crumbl cookie was made so well that I believe it was one of the best cookies this week.
Caramel Shortbread ft. TWIX: This cookie was my favorite of the lineup this week. It is a chilled cookie with a shortbread base with a layer of caramel and chocolate on top. It is also topped with crushed Twix. I have always liked the Twix candy and I think this cookie tasted just like it. Although it was chilled, you could still taste the chewy caramel and chocolate. These flavors paired really well together. The layers on top didn’t overpower the shortbread cookie base and there wasn’t too much of it. It had an interesting texture because of the caramel, so it was relatively hard to chew. After the cookie heated up, it was the perfect texture because the caramel was softer and the chocolate flavor was more prominent.
Original Pink Sugar: This cookie had been one of Crumbl’s alternating flavors for a long time. It was my first time trying it and it was definitely my least favorite. The cookie had a sugar cookie base and pink frosting on top. It was also chilled. The frosting is an almond frosting and I think it threw me off. It was super sweet and almost had a medicine flavor. The cookie had a pretty color and a good sugar cookie base, but the frosting just wasn’t very likeable. The texture of the cookie was also very crumbly and fell apart easily.
