Maria Maraldo ’21, Staff Writer
Maria Maraldo is a senior and a second-year writer for the Tower. Maria has always been heavily interested in writing and journalism but furthered her skills as a junior in her first year of Tower. Maraldo believes journalists play a vital part in our society and wanted to be a part of that through the paper. One of Maraldo’s favorite parts of Tower is the bonding exercises that Tower has with staff members such as holiday parties. Maria is experienced in writing feature stories and enjoys expressing herself through writing. She is also involved in the Looking Glass, Young Democrats, and plays the violin for South’s symphony orchestra as well as the DSYO. In addition to her skilled violin playing, Maria also teaches younger elementary school kids to play as well. In her free time, Maria loves to bake and hang out with her friends. Maraldo also has a family member in Tower. “I have a twin sister involved in Tower as well,” Maraldo said.
