Ayla Augspurger ‘26 is a kind-hearted dedicated staff writer who is passionate about journalism due to the opportunity she gets with exposure to people and to express herself through her stories. Outside of The Tower, Augspurger is an enthusiastic soccer player who thrives in a close team environment.

“I love the dynamic of the team and getting to know everyone well,” Augspurger said. “There’s not many of us, so our team is almost like a family.”

Because of her love of writing and interviewing, Augsburger decided to join The Tower and has loved everything about it. The process of making the newspaper and interviewing people is her favorite.

“I can’t wait to have another great year on Tower,” Augspurger said.
