The senior class advisor Kendra Caralis says a lot of work went into putting everything together. She is happy with how everything turned out and appreciates the effort that her class put in.
“Many hours were spent working on the banner and float,” Caralis said. “I am so happy with the way that everything turned out.”
The senior student council played a big role in putting together the spirit day. They organized multiple posters and float parties. Vice President Brigid Williams ’25 was a big help with the organization of Senior Spirit Day. It was a challenge for them to plan, but it was very rewarding.
“It was really hard for the student council to meet and be able to plan spirit day so smoothly due to all the student council members being extremely busy,” Williams said. “But it was definitely worth it to see the big turnout when we put up the banner.”
Despite the early wake-up, many students were extremely excited to be a part of their final spirit day. Kate Everham ’25 said that this was the best spirit day yet because she felt that since it was their last one everyone was brought together.
“I mean none of us wanted to wake up super early and come to school just to put up a banner,” Everham said. “But I am really happy we did. I feel like everyone had a great time and it was worth losing an hour of sleep.”
After the students put up the banner, took pictures and ran through the halls one last time, they were supplied with a breakfast from the Mothers Club and shortly after left to go to class. Caralis hopes that they leave this year with good memories.
“I hope the seniors look back and think that was a lot of fun,” Caralis said. “All I want is for them to be happy about the way their spirit day turned out.”
