Talia Patterson ’26 is a common, but enthusiastic, “Swiftie” who enjoys all things Taylor Swift. Especially the album “Evermore.” As a second year writer on the Tower Staff, she is thrilled to start publishing and writing stories again, particularly writing because her favorite genre of book is non-fiction. “I really like to interview people and I think its fun to learn about them,” Patterson said. Aside from school, Patterson participates in cheerleading, she is a base at South. She also occasionally passes the ball around with her sister. Patterson She partakes in baking and hanging out with her friends too. “I love baking macarons and cookies,” Patterson said. Patterson also has three dogs who are named Bob, Kevin and the newest addition named Whipped Cream Sprinkles. Although she has a busy schedule, she always tries to make time for Tower bonding activities, including the end of the year picnic. “I like Tower because of the traditions that are still held up from 30 years ago,” Patterson said.

Kai Tibbitts is one of the brightest people in Tower. She's very outgoing and incredibly friendly to talk to, as well as being involved in South's Orchestra and Pointe Players. Her favorite part of Tower is being involved with everybody, but her main passion lies in designing art. "I just really like designing stuff, and I really enjoy being in a class dedicated to design. I'm involved in plays as one of the assistant stage managers, and I also work with art, designing props," said Kai. "I'm a perfectionist when it comes to things I'm passionate about." Kai loves her position on Tower as a page editor, as it allows her to communicate with others to improve her work. Outside of Tower, you can find her in Orchestra, with Pointe Players or hanging out with friends.
