As far as I’m concerned, you can’t really go wrong by spending a snowy day outside and heading up a mountain in a chairlift. However, in my opinion, heading down on two skis is far more enjoyable than a snowboard.

Skiing is far easier to pick up for beginners because learning to balance on a snowboard is difficult to adjust to. This makes skiing more inclusive for anyone interested; From beginners to pros, everyone can participate to some extent because it’s simple to learn.

For that reason, skiing is a strong tradition in my family, from my grandpa to my little cousins, because every generation is capable to some extent and we all enjoy it and it allows us to bond.
