The Tower Pulse

Zach Farrell ’21
Zach Farrell is a senior at Grosse Pointe South and is a supervising editor as well as a photographer on Tower. This year, he is interested in being able to write about some of the events happening this year. For instance, he wants to write about the election, as well as covering how sports are going to be working this year due to COVID-19.
“I’m also very excited because as photographers we can have exclusive access to sports games,” Farrell said. “Where normally students wouldn’t be able to go and spectate, but we’re going to be able to go and take pictures.” Outside of Tower, Zach has been involved in many extracurricular activities including Science Olympiad, S.E.E.D.S., Solar Car, and Save the Lake Club, while also running cross-country and track. Something you may not know about Zach is that he is color blind.
“A big part of photos, and well editing photos, is color correction,” Farrell said. “So it’s very weird because it takes out that side of taking pictures, so it’s basically all photo composition for me.”
