Owen Parent '23, Supervising Copy Editor

Owen Parent ‘23 has been writing for the Tower since he was a sophomore, and this year will be the supervising copy editor. He loves the Tower community, along with a journalistic writing style. “I know there’s more voice in journalism. It’s more interesting than sitting down and cranking out an essay,” Parent said. Parent runs cross country for South in his free time and enjoys watching baseball, football, and basketball. He is also extremely sociable and has a talent for making friends, but hopes he doesn’t come off as intimidating to new people. Parent also is a huge dog person. On the weekends, it’s likely you’d catch him bringing his three dogs, Annie, Winnie, and Penny to the dog park.
