The Tower Pulse

Maddie Weekley ’21
Maddie Weekley is a senior in her third year of being on The Tower and holds the position of a copy editor. She’s passionate about journalism, and hopes to pursue it as a future career. "Tower really allowed me to find my passion for journalism,” Weekley said. “If it weren’t for this class, I couldn’t have possibly fallen in love with it.” Weekley isn’t into sports, but she’d never pass up an opportunity to go on a bike ride around Belle Isle. When she’s not with friends, or working her job at a psychiatry center, Weekley spends her free time reading or writing in the company of her three cats, Hunter, Benny, and Maxwell. She’s huge on caffeine, and a regular at Starbucks, although Monster Energy drinks hold a special place in her heart. Weekley loves both the challenges and fun that Tower brings to her day, and is excited for another year on staff.
