The Tower Pulse

Anna Cornell ’20
Senior Anna Cornell is a staff writer entering what is, as she puts it, practically her third year on The Tower staff. Cornell sees journalism as a form of writing that allows her to actually enjoy English. “You get to create on your own but then you kind of have a template,” Cornell said. “So you get a little bit of structure and a little bit of creativity, so you get the best of both worlds.” In addition to writing for The Tower, Cornell can be found swimming on South’s varsity team, enjoying long naps, and taking frequent trips to her fridge. A little known fact about her is that she despises socks! Cornell hates the way they feel and only wears them if they’re fuzzy...or if she thinks her shoes will give her blisters, as she explained while sheepishly glancing at the white fabric peeping out of the tops of her Converse.
