A statement in any outfit, platform shoes have become increasingly popular recently. They come in a variety of styles, such as slip-ons, sneakers, heels and more. The prices of these shoes range from $20-$100, depending on the style and brand. These provide a sense of uniqueness and height.

  • Overalls

A twist on rompers, overalls provide a simple, yet fashionable addition to your closet this summer. They come in a variety of colors and styles, some of the most popular being denim and linen. They can be styled in many different ways: layered, pop of color, or with jewelry. The price of overalls depends on the quality, with brands such as Madewell, Urban Outfitters and Gap.

Prices range around $100 depending on the style.

Embroidered clothing is easy to find, with stores like Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie and Free People being go-tos for this style. Whether it’s on a blouse, shorts, dresses, or even shoes, this design is both fun and versatile, making it a must-have to add to your closet.

  • Jean skirts

Jean skirts are a spring and summer staple. They’re a simple item that you can pair with almost any top. You can find plain skirts, as well as ones with cool embroidery or buttons. They’re great for going out to dinner on summer nights. Because it is such a popular style, most stores have their own renditions of the jean skirt. You can find cheap ones on Romwe or at Forever 21, or nicer quality ones from American Eagle or H&M.

Rompers are an easy, yet cute outfit for the summer. They come in many different materials, whether it be linen, cotton, etc., which make them a great piece to wear during warmer days during summer vacation. Rompers can also be casual or easily dressed up to make any outfit great. Prices of rompers depend on the quality and style.

A twist on a summer essential, mirrored sunglasses add a unique aspect to any summer outfit. Some popular brands that have these sunglasses include RayBan and Quay. In addition, these sunglasses come in a variety of styles, such as aviator, oval or wayfarer. Depending on the quality wanted, prices for these range from $20-$150 and over.

A true throwback to the early 2000s, Silly Bandz are an interesting way to add color to your summer outfits. The bracelets come in multiple shapes that make the bandz fun and unique to every person. These bandz are fairly inexpensive; prices for a pack are around $10.

This statement style was back on the runway again this year. Designers like Calvin Klein and Balenciaga have brought a high-end take to this style. However, for an everyday summer look, you can find this style at stores like ASOS.

This material is great for the hot weather of summertime; it’s light, thin and comfortable to have on. All types of clothing come in linen, such as pants, shorts and tops. In addition, this material is easy to style and a fantastic piece to add to any outfit. Prices for this range depending on the brand and type of clothing.
