With fall right around the corner, many Grosse Pointe South students are dressing for the weather. Everyone has their own unique style that portrays who they are as a person. Depending on the weather, it can definitely alter someone’s style.

These are some of the many ways students express their style during the fall weather.

Social media has a huge effect on the upcoming trends for fall or any time of year. Gabe Omialian ‘19 wears a popular band t-shirt that he got at the concert he saw in the summer. “ I really like Twenty One Pilots and when I saw them live they played for like two hours straight.” Omialian ‘19 said.

“During the fall I like to wear comfortable clothing. I really love wearing skirts and sweaters.” Jessica Dogg ‘19 said. Dressing fashionable and comfortable is essential during the fall.

Styles can alter during different seasons. “ My style in the fall represents me as a person because it’s different than other peoples. In the summer I dress like everyone else and in the fall I show more individualism and I can be myself.” Daniel Follis ‘18 said.

For Alex Krcho ‘18 who is an exchange student from Slovakia the style is similar to America’s but isn’t popular for them till months later. “ Jeans and sweatshirts are favored by many guys in Slovakia.” Krcho ‘18 said.

There are many ways to keep up to date on fashion in the fall. For example, layering can be a great and fun way to bundle up for the chilly weather.

Seasons change and so does style. Fall is a great time to express style, creativity, and individualism through your wardrobe.
