Lead by the scoring of Cierra Rice ’15 the girls varsity basketball team rolled through Romeo (8-6) by a score of 56-33 on Tuesday, Jan. 29.

Rice ran the offense well early in the contest, tallying most of her 17 points in the paint. Claire DeBoer ’13, another key component, rebounded well and was a large presence in the paint battling with Romeo’s 6 foot 5 center, Lauren Bright. The scoring was spread out with seven Blue Devils scoring at least two points.

On Thursday, Jan. 31, the Lady Blue Devils (14-1) travel to Macomb Dakota and will be trying to stay atop the MAC Red division standings.
