In the first game of the varsity basketball doubleheader, the boys fell to Warren Fitzgerald 54-44 on Tuesday, Jan. 29.

The key coming into the game was the big men rotation for the Blue Devils, which produced numerous offensive rebounds and second chance points. This allowed the boys to stay close, but in the end, the guard play of the Fitzgerald Spartans (10-1) was too much to handle.

The Blue Devils dropped their record to (3-10), dropping their fifth in a row. They travel to Port Huron Northern on Thursday, Jan. 31.
